Wow!!! Long Time No See!

I will admit the obvious...I am not a good blogger:-{ It has been a year since my last post, and I don't have any excuses other than I never know exactly what to say. I read so many great blogs, and I always wonder, how do these people do it? Since it has been a year since my last post, I am going to offer a special through the month of September!!! If you book your session in the month of September you receive 50% of the $150.00 session fee and 25% off print prices. This is good for family, senior, engagement, and newborn sessions. Take advantage of the fall color and book a session today!

I had the chance to photograph Natalee and Carter a few weeks ago. These kids were so great to work with. I see modeling in their future! Maggie and Daren, ENJOY!

Congratulations Nick and Jesica!

Nick and Jesica had a beautiful wedding at the Wealthy Street Theater in Eastown. The first one below is one of my favorite images.

Bryce

I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin's son Bryce over the 4th of July weekend. Below are two of my immediate favorites. He had such a calm disposition leading me to believe not all redheads are sassy. Tina and Tim, I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

My Bebe

I hardly ever take pictures of my dogs, but was inspired after coming across this photogs site http://www.erinvey.com/bark/. Sophie was the only one up for having her portrait taken and that was hard enough. I would take a hungry 2 and half year old that skipped a nap any day over dog portraiture. My respect goes out to those that do it on a regular basis. I only liked this one shot so its probably a good thing I don't photograph dogs for a living:)

Some new pictures, finally!

I think easy smiles from this one are a thing from the past. It seems 2 and half to 3 year-olds have far better things to do than pay any attention to me. We went to the state hospital in Traverse City for this session, and it was beautiful. I can't wait to take future sessions there.

Missed This The First Time

I was in such a hurry to post Valentine's Day pictures in time that I skipped over this one. For some reason I just love it.
